I'd especially have to agree with Black Violin on the practicing the scales/arpeggios slowly with a metronome. When you practice slowly, you're developing your muscle memory. It helps give you the ability to play instictively. As odd as it sounds, working on techincal skills gives you more freedom to experience your music on an emotional level. Just my opinion. I'm not a violinist.

hello members of pure fire, a long time ago (@ 2001 or 2002) i was in new york city going about my way in the subway system when i heard this violin sound playing along with drums. (i think it was at grand central station) i slowly changed my direction to the sound and low and behold i see you two playing live, i stood there listening for about 9 minutes when you stopped to take a small breather and sell your promotion cd, i was entranced on how it sounded think that i may never hear this again i bought it. a plain white cd was on it with a square piece of paper on the cover showning a design of pure fire on it. i thought to myself "darn, must be really underground to go through this" years have past and i still enjoyed listening to love addict and other songs on the cd. please when you make a full cd or newer songs let us know. p.s. i normally poi-spin using your songs since it sounds fast paced and enjoying at the same time.
